Pizza Nachos

In addition to both being gameday favorites, pizza and nachos share so much snack DNA—melty cheese, tomato-based sauce, similar meat and veggie toppings, a crispy vessel for delivering it to your mouth—that it makes sense to unite them in a delicious, deep-dish marriage baked in a HexClad Hybrid Deep Sauté Pan. This recipe serves at least six hungry fans, but can easily be halved or made in two batches for smaller gatherings.

What You Need

Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°. Scatter half of the chips in a HexClad 4.5QT Hybrid Deep Sauté Pan. Spoon half of the pizza sauce and half of the salsa over the chips. Sprinkle half of the pepperoni, olives, jalapeños, and green pepper over the chips, followed by half of the cheeses. Repeat with the remaining chips, toppings, and cheese to form another layer. Top with more pepperoni, black olives, jalapeño, and bell pepper.
  2. Bake until the cheese has melted and the edges of the chips are starting to brown, 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle the basil over the nachos and serve with guacamole and sour cream, if desired. Serve.
