In a HexClad .5QT Hybrid Milk Pot over medium-low, combine milk, sugar, cocoa powder and a pinch salt. Cook, whisking occasionally, until combined and milk starts bubbling around edges of pot, 5 to 7 minutes.

Remove from heat, add chocolate chips and whisk until chocolate is melted and mixture is combined.
