Thanksgiving Turkey

⏲ It’s time to take your turkey out of the freezer! ❄️🦃 Thaw your turkey in the refrigerator and allow one day for every 4-5 pounds.
• Make a compound butter using unsalted butter and herbs such as rosemary, thyme, and sage.
• Generously rub the compound butter under the skin of your bird
• Fill cavity with orange slices & herbs
• Cover turkey with cheese cloth soaked in melted compound better (this tip is from Julia Child)
• Add chicken stock to the bottom of your HexClad roasting pan, baste frequently
• Place turkey in oven and drop temperature to 350° F
• Your turkey is done when the a thermometer reads 165° F in the thickest part of the thigh
• Let rest for 20-30 minutes.
• Slice and serve.
